It’s funny how the changing weather changes your outlook on things.

I’ve been spending the majority of my time working on jewellery over the past year and a half or so, only doing one major carving last spring/summer. Suddenly, though, I’ve been getting little sparks of inspiration, visualizing carvings in stone and wood at the strangest times. Little bits of paper are piling up again in the workshop, glimmers of ideas that somehow get lost if you don’t sketch them on a napkin or the back of a receipt as soon as they come to you. Some are good, some weird, but all little inspirations. Hopefully, the time will come soon when a little sketch becomes a carving, in the meantime, may the ideas keep on coming!
